Montes Sparkling Angel

“An Angel born from bubbles”

White flowers, fresh fruits, breadcrumbs, and light toast, with notes of dried fruit, hazelnut, and walnut aromas in nose. In palate is well balanced with good acidity and fine, crisp foam. Creamy and silky on the mid-palate with a fresh, fruity, and persistent finish.

This Cabernet Sauvignon has the characteristic deep ruby-red colour, with very elegant and delicate aromas, where ripe red berries dominate, including strawberry, red plum, and sarsaparilla, as well as cassis liqueur and cherry syrup. From its time spent aging in oak, there are notes of tobacco, dulce de leche, and mocha, very well balanced with the fruity profile.

The highly perfumed nose presents intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries in syrup, strawberries, and figs over a spicy back that recalls red and black pepper along with notes of fresh tobacco and crème de cassis that meld very well with the aromas of coffee and dark chocolate that appear after a few minutes in the glass.

The wine shows a deep red colour, with the purple undertones very characteristic of Carmenère. The intense nose reveals aromas of black fruit, such as blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by pleasing spice notes of bell pepper and black pepper, joined by sweet notes from the French oak barrels, delivering a very complex wine.

Deep carmine-red in colour, typical of the variety. The aromas are diverse and complex, with a predominance of ripe black and blue fruit, including blackberry, plum, and blueberry. The 18 months of contact with French oak add strong notes of sweet spice, pink pepper, coffee, and tobacco, which are well paired with the fruit notes.

With a terrific colour of red dried sour cherries, the wine readily unfolds its elegance on the nose, releasing ripe, red-berry aromas of raspberry and strawberry, in addition to plum and ripe grapes. The notes derived from ageing in barrels, such as nutmeg, toasted nuts, tobacco, and a subtle tone of liqueur wine, are well integrated with the fruitiness.

Montes Taita is the top iconic wine from Montes Wines. Taita is a concentrated and complex wine, the production of which is extremely limited. It is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, which Aurelio Montes adds other varieties to according to their qualities.

The wine presents an impressive, deep red colour, with purple borders. On the nose, the wine shows great potency and complexity of aromas, ranging from ripe red and black fruit to black pepper, nutmeg, candy, and leather; leading to the aromas acquired after 18 months in French oak barrels, including tobacco, toast, vanilla, and liqueur.
